オープンソースの3Dプリンター「VORON2.4」が、コーサク室にやってきました。そこで、組み立てを一緒に楽しんでくれる仲間を募集します！　なお、VORONはメーカーが提供する製品ではなく、オープンソースの情報をもとに自作する3Dプリンターです。ある程度3Dプリンターの経験がある方のご参加をお勧めしますが、初めての方でも関心がある方はどうぞお気軽にご参加ください。参加対象は、原則として大学生以上です。

次回の組み立ては、3月17日(日)1４:00-17:00を予定しています。ドロップインでのご参加が可能です。ご参加希望の方は専用フォームからご連絡ください。

The open-source 3D printer "VORON2.4" came to CO-SAKU Room the other day. The assembly will start now. Therefore, we are looking for people who will enjoy assembling it together with us!　We will hold a "VORON Information Session" to answer such questions as "What is VORON?"

会員さんの「やりたい！」から始まったコーサク室のVORONプロジェクト（Background Story)

コーサク室には、３台の3Dプリンターがあります。そのうちの１台「Ender3」を、とっても愛用くださっている会員さんがいます。

その方が「VORONという3Dプリンター、知ってる？」とスタッフにお声がけくださったのは、春頃のことでした。3Dプリンターにさほど詳しくないスタッフ、少し検索してみたら、ものすごい速度で動く動画を発見！　「うわっ！なんじゃこりゃ〜」とびっくりしながら、その会員さんのVORONに対する思いをお聞きしました。

当然ながら、ほしいと言われても、ポンと導入できるわけではありません。コーサク室にある機材や工具のほとんどは、お客様のご要望をきっかけに導入してきました。けれど今回のVORONについては、自作する必要があり3Dプリンターユーザーでもある程度経験がある方が使う対象になりそうなこと、導入費用もそれなりにすること、運用のことなどを考え、スタッフは少し悩んでしまったのです。でも悩む時は聞いちゃうのがイチバンなので、会員さんで関心がありそうな方にお聞きしてみました。すると、「興味あるよー、もしコーサク室に置いてくれるなら、購入費用を少しドネーションしてもいいよ」という嬉しい声がチラホラ。よし、それなら、やってみよう！ ということで、コーサク室でのVORONプロジェクトがスタートしたのです。

これまで、関心のある会員さんたちが情報収集をしながら、どのようにプロジェクトをすすめていくかを話し合ってきてくれました。そして無事にキットを購入し、これから組み立てるフェーズです。
この貴重な機会、もっともっと一緒に楽しんでくれる仲間を増やしたいです。まずは、Information Sessionにご参加いただいて、「VORONってどうなの？」「コーサク室ってどんなところ？」「どんな人たちがいるの？」というあたり、知りにいらしてください。

There are three 3D printers in the CO-SAKU Room. One of them, Ender3, is a favorite of one of our members.He asked our staff, "Do you know a 3D printer called VORON? Not being very familiar with 3D printers, we did a little searching and found a video of it moving at a very fast speed!　We then asked the member about his thoughts on VORON.
Naturally, even if they say they want one, it doesn't mean they can install one right away. The staff members were a bit worried because they had to make their own 3D printer, which would likely be used by 3D printer users with a certain level of experience, the high cost of introduction, and the operation.
We asked some of our members who might be interested. Then, we heard a few happy voices saying, "We are interested, and if you can put it in the CO-SAKU Room, we can donate a little of the purchase cost. Then, let's give it a try! Thus began the VORON project in the CO-SAKU Room.

組み立ては、8月末ごろから始まる予定です。スケジュールは、参加する皆さんと相談して決めることになると思います。組み立ては、会員でなくても「ドロップイン＋ちょこっと」の料金でご参加いただけるように考えています。完成後のご利用は会員さん優先にする予定ですが、「一度試しに使ってみたい」という方もきっといらっしゃるでしょう。ご要望をお聞きしながら、検討をしていきます。決まりましたら、ホームページでお知らせします。

Assembly is scheduled to begin around the end of August. The schedule will be decided after consulting with everyone who participates in the project. We are planning to allow non-members to participate in the assembly for a drop-in fee. We plan to give priority to members for use after completion, but we are sure that there will be people who would like to try it out. We will consider this while listening to your requests. We will post an announcement on our website when a decision is made.
